  • SDANW makes decisions based on consensus. Review our consensus process here. You may wish to print this and bring it with you to the conference.

  • SDANW’s Legislative Council is responsible for the implementation of its legislative policy. Four at-large members and two alternates will be elected at the annual meeting. Review our legislative policy here

Four individual SDANW members and two alternates will be elected to serve on the Legislative Council at its Annual Membership Meeting Aug. 10. If you wish to run for a seat on the Council or to nominate another, please complete this form and return it via email to sdadvocacynetworkforwomen@outlook.com no later than Aug. 1.

If you wish to nominate another person, please check with them to ensure they are individual members and have agreed to fulfill the responsibilities of a Council member. SDANW will contact that person to ensure their interest in running and serving on the Council if elected.
